New route being launched next year. It's only 2800miles from KEF.
A million great ideas...

It's Cleveland . . . . Falcon lives there . . . I mean, it's Cleveland? Bet it doesn't last a year.

Fair point. Looks like an effort to compete with WOW, so there should be some decent fares if anyone fancies looking at some volcanoes then popping over for dinner with Falcon.

Nope. Falcon just got a mandatory wash/rinse cycle courtesy of mother nature.
We sleep peacefully in our beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on our behalf

Hey..... {frown} {frown} {frown} {frown}

Like they would pick someplace in Alabama..........

I tell you....cherries.....just never know what they will come up with....

;)

It'll be a seasonal route. Come winter the winds and weather will make it untenable.
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

A 737 Max can fly to CLE like it can fly to the moon.
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Why would you think it can't?

The variant Icelandair have ordered can do KEF-CLE fully loaded with an 80% fuel load. Fully fuelled it can (and most probably will) do the KEF-SEA run.

Interestingly enough they announced DFW with a 752 that is likely being freed from the 737 Max showing up. This announcement was days after WOW announced DFW as well.

Montreal will now run between 3 and 5 weekly with the Max.

3 Max coming to Icelandair in Q1 2018 with more coming in 2019 and they look to be nice and busy from day 1.

Will be interesting to see what routes follow.
