Back in the day, when I was sitting on an airplane more likely than not, I had many occasions to interface with McCain. HP had a great 4pm departure out of DCA to PHX (connected to a flight to MRY). McCain was generally on that flight, every Friday evening, and I was as well - every other Friday. Had a girl I was seeing and she was in MRY, very convenient flight time.

I have sat with him quite often (goes without saying in F). Never talked politics, mostly didn't talk 'war' but we did talk military. He had a sense of humor. I consider him a decent person, always talked about taking care of the military, taking care of other people.

I voted for him (and that idiot Palin) in the 2008 go for the White House.

I have also read war stories and (supposed) horror about him.

All that said, I think he did a decent job for Arizona. I think he did the best he could for the country as a US Senator. He is pretty well respected by most people I know.

Rest Peaceful Senator.

CSM Out.

Some 26 year old guy named Mac Miller died. I have no idea who that is, but Twitter is going nuts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has no idea who that was.

In all seriousness, if you're going to last 95 years, that's how to do it {thumbsup}
